Community Service
Texas Bank is proud to be a locally owned community bank, and we feel very strongly about supporting our community. Officers and employees log hundreds of volunteer hours each year to many worthy causes. The bank also invests monetarily in the community each year by giving to many area organizations such as United Way of the Concho Valley, West Texas Boys Ranch, Habitat for Humanity, Boy Scouts, San Angelo Chamber of Commerce, Meals for the Elderly, Angelo State University, City of San Angelo, YMCA, NAACP, San Angelo Schools Foundation, the San Angelo Symphony, the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts, sports teams, and many others.
During our 2024 campaign, between running fundraisers throughout the year, employee pledges and our corporate pledge to match, we raised over $49,000 for the United Way of the Concho Valley!
We had a great fundraising season! From selling eclipse glasses, bake sales, t-shirt sales, ice-cream sales, and spirit weeks, fun was had by all!
We also had the chance to support the United Way of the Concho Valley by helping out with their school supply event and serve hotdogs to families in our community!
Part of our crew supporting ASU!
Texas Bank participated in the Galilee CDC Helping Hands Blitz Day where we helped one of our community members around their house. We were able to replace a kitchen faucet, do some fence repairs, replace a back yard gate, repair the screened in porch, and organize and clean their garage!
